and the party went on and on

For those that are counting, yes, this is the third blog post of Isaac's 2nd birthday festivities. All I can say is after while he began to think singing "happy birthday to you" was a daily occurrence, as well as the cake and presents. But you only turn 2 once, and he is a rather cute little munchkin.
Here are some snap shots of our low-key family birthday with Isaac, having the novelty of being held on his actual birthday, with just us three: Daddy, Mommy and Isaac. We had chocolate cupcakes.
His presents were mostly Thomas the train things. He was in heaven.
The next night, we did it again with a chocolate/chocolate ice cream cake with some friends visiting from Brooklyn and a cousin visiting from out of town. One of his favorite songs continues to be "Happy Birthday to You" and he sings it to himself, sounding something like: Happy You, You, Isaac; Happy You, You, Isaac (over and over).

Sounds like he had a great birthday!!! My 2 year old has decided you CAN NOT sing happy birthday without candles and fire... I hope your little boy is much less of a pyro! PS - I LOVED your Christmas card! SO cute!!
