Life is a Beach

Labor Day marked the beginning of Beach season! We went to Jones Beach and watched the Blue Angels' air show.

Isaac got buried up to his midriff in sand.

It was a bit cloudy so I made the mistake of getting more sun than I realized. Aloe Vera fixed things.

Memorial Day Isaac had his first Cheetos, Doritos, sun chips, and who knows what else.
He was in heaven.

Here he is polishing off a Tupperware of Carmel coated popcorn with some soul mates & partners in crime.

Because you can't get enough of a good thing, we went back to the beach Wednesday--in Brooklyn this time.

It was a perfect day--lots of sun and no crowds. We were in an adventurous mood and all swam out past the breakers

Otherwise, life has been play dates and lots of fun.

Isaac is wishing Christmas would come early this year for two reasons.....

1) Thomas

2) Micro Mini Scooters.

Three Saturdays during the summer the New York Park Rangers hold a lottery to spend a night in a tent in Central Park. Our name was drawn!

It was quite fun. The rangers took us on a nature hike (you can see here who did the hiking).

At nightfall, we read stories, then settled down in our tent. Isaac slept so well that other camper's s'mores and limbo contest, the morning sun light, the loud birds and deflating the air mattress all didn't wake him up at all. He is a camping champ.
