Isaac's Explorations

Isaac loves to take apart my wallet and chew on every card. Its been tough on the paper business cards, but everything else has survived ok. I like this picture of the wallet massacre because he will often cock his head to the side and look at me when he is trying to size up what I am thinking.

He recently began opening cupboards and has his favorites:

#1, the spice rack cupboard. He seems to get attached to different spices on different days. A week ago, I couldn't pry the black pepper bottle out of his hand (he ended up falling asleep with it in his death grip). Earlier this week, mustard seeds. He finally had to surrender them to get in the bath. He's had a long standing relationship with the Tabasco bottle and with Mrs. Butterworth. She had to say goodbye after Isaac learned how to open her cap and squirt her on the floor.

#2 The pots and pans cupboard. He loves the loud crashes they make as he pulls them all out. The metal strainer has never had so many interesting formations as Isaac continues to bend the netting.

This look has been lovingly termed "the fishy face." And yeah, it is a fairly common sight. He just started doing it one day.
We managed to find an apartment, no broker fee, in our budget, 2 bedroom on west 92nd. We find out tomorrow if our application is accepted.

That fishy face is awesome! Go Isaac!

And very exciting about the apartment-- I hope you get it! It gets my approval since it's still in the ward, although twenty blocks uptown would be even better... :)
