All day running through my mind was how he made his entrance exactly a year ago; my water breaking with a splash at 5am, our walk through central park to the hospital, the relatively short 15 to 20 minutes of pushing at the end. Isaac has continued to "exceed expectations" (as uncle Preston would say) for all 365 days (ok, except in the sleep category). We couldn't imagine being any happier.
Lots of Isaac's buddies came to yum up cup cakes and play in the park. 
It was beautiful weather.
Isaac got a ride-on lion from his grandparents and it was love at first sight. Here he is intent on helping daddy put it together.

Happy birthday!! Can you believe he's a year old? Wow. I think it's such a monumental birthday for the baby and the mom. I'm so happy you have this little guy!
